A 2 -min Introduction

“Earth, isn’t this what you want,
an invisible re-arising within us?”

–Rainer Maria Rilke

Take a creative journey through five archetypal landscapes that reveal your soul’s patterns and potential through nature’s images and metaphors.

This journey roots your mythic story in five Earth archetypes. In writing from these ancestral landscapes, your personal search for meaning becomes part of the dream of the Earth, gaining a fierce potency that awakens you to a deeper meaning and purpose. The deserts, forests, oceans and rivers, mountains, and grasslands are aspects of your wild soul that, once awakened, help bring to the surface a vitality and authenticity that our modern, overly domesticated culture tends to suppress in us.

This session will be mainly experiential. You’ll write, reflect, explore, listen to meditations, and emerge with a rich understanding of how these landscape archetypes, or soulscapes, hold vital aspects of your own inner terrain waiting to be discovered.

Exploring our relationship to the Earth from an archetypal perspective, not only strengthens our desire to live according to our own true nature, but to protect the very body of the Earth in which our imaginations, sense of self, our creativity and even our spirituality are deeply entwined.
