“The tale’s provocative symbols and how they show up in our lives.”

Join Laura Lewis-Barr for her stop-motion fairy tale film, “The Two Travelers,” based on the Grimm tale and inspired by Laura’s reading of Marie Louise Von Franz.

Laura seeks to make these old stories new again by updating the film with hidden symbols, humor, modern tropes, and a female hero. We will explore the tale’s provocative symbols and how they show up in our lives.

Fairy tales contain healing wisdom. Laura’s films are homemade creations that beckon us toward play. Both stop motion films and fairy tales speak to our heart center, the inner child. Fairy tales (and these films) welcome repeat viewings. As we return again and again to these old stories, they provide new insights.
