Holograms of Totality

Artist Statement

My goal as an artist is to generate energy, uplift the subtle, and precipitate the dense, thus penetrating deep spiritual messages of love and unity.

I see my paintings as mandalas that serve me, and I hope you can experience it too, as doors to the cosmic elements that transmute the soul into something higher to discover the key to its evolution. They are sort of holograms in which each part holds the information of totality. Through my artwork, I want to offer you an opportunity to discover the unseen and feel one with the Creation.

Essay

When I stand in front of a canvas and start painting, it is as if I begin to form a space of life, which is transmitted through color and shape. This space is found deep within our being that emerges on the surface to show itself and tell us about other subtle forms that express the greatness of creation.

It is as if we were in a learning stage, in an infinite childhood. Here I refer to Picasso, who said, "It took me four years to paint like Raphael but a lifetime to paint like a child."

A painting may seem perfect, but if it does not have a surpassing spark from within, we will not have reached the beginning of forms, the beginning of life. We will not be able to see with the eyes of the spirit the beauty of color and form that emerge from an abstraction from which we all come.

"The singularity," that tiny point, as scientists call the beginning of the Big Bang, was the most absolute abstraction of the Universe and our beginnings.

When we work with the unconscious, colors and shapes flow by themselves. They do not go through reason or intellect that wants to understand and comprehend everything.

A good observer will say, “I do not understand what the artist wanted to express, but it mobilizes my interior, and it touches the depth of my being. This is called feeling, and to feel, you do not have to understand or ask for explanations but to contemplate and enjoy.”

Color awakens our senses. Color has sound. Sound has color. A word has sound. All of them are in a relationship with each other. Each frequency range represents a color, a word, a sound - a trilogy that shapes life.

When you study energy, symbolism, biology, chemistry, quantum physics, archetypes, comparative religion, astronomy, astrology, Western and Eastern philosophy, neurosciences, and other topics related to the spiritual evolution of man, you understand that everything has to do with everything and the truth is everywhere and not in one part.

It is a commitment that today's artist has to assume in addition to his knowledge of art.

Art = Science = Spirituality
Spirituality = Science = Art

Painting is a dangerous vocation and passion.

It is a fight all artists undertake with an uncertain future but with the certainty that what is being done is the pure and sincere manifestation of our interior and absolute dedication is part of the journey. But for the artist, there is only one way - in silence, without shortcuts, noise, or limelight. These are the tests that all artists must pass to grow. We go through it with patience, perseverance, humility, and imagination. They are our inseparable companions because it would be tough to get there without them.

My paintings speak in a universal language that touches the emotional and spiritual core of people. I am trying to speak to people in the pictorial language of a natural and spiritual rhythm, which is embodied in all things in life and around us. I feel that once artists recognize the ability that God has given us as artists, we should go on and explore this ability, this gift, and share it with others.

The images I paint come from my inner world, my experience of reality, and my connection to the spiritual aspect of my environment. I feel the need to communicate and share what I have inside. It's an impulse.

I think it's one of the basic rules of the universe: give and take. Therefore, I feel the need to share what I have. Maybe that insight and understanding will ultimately spark change.

My paintings come from within and correspond to energies that show me the central being of things and how everything is connected. I explore these connections through color, shape, and a structure that contains the whole and the parts. I'm interested in the way the parts seem to contain the whole, a bit like exploring how a microcosm and a macrocosm appear in all things.

For me, a painting tries to express a spiritual opening, a hologram of totality, through which we can enter the inner world of all things.

It's pretty hard to explain in words, but for those who can read colors and shapes, the message is clear. As if reading between the lines, each painting contains a message between the colors and shapes, a message to be deciphered. A message that also evolves from one painting to another.

When I was young, I lived a very isolated life of a lonely child. I spent most of my time thinking about life and its meaning. I grew up as an introverted person who focuses more on his internal experiences and images rather than on the surrounding reality. I was looking for a way of life that is beyond the limitations that society imposes on us.

My paintings are part of my search for the truth and the Self that is beyond human influences. I have read a lot about religions and feel that, to some degree, all beliefs advocate the same fundamental truth that underlies life experience. In my youth, it was difficult or almost impossible to talk about these issues with people my age or older. I felt quite alone in my search beyond the physical and social limits of the truth, which underlies life. So, I chose to explore my search through the paintings.

I know that the spiritual part of my being is a great and influential force in my life. This gives me an impetus to continue expressing it.

The connection between colors and shapes evolves in relation to the alignment it develops, plus the meanings. People can interpret it as if the color is a translator of what I am feeling in terms of energy.
